Will parents in the Adelaide High School zone have genuine choice in schooling and the option to choose between either of the city high schools when the new school is open? The Hon. S.E. CLOSE (Port Adelaide—Minister for Education and Child Development, Minister for Higher Education and Skills) (15:14): There is a live discussion at present about that. My expectation is that we have two zones because there are no other high schools that are twinned where there is a single catchment and choice made by the people living there, but it may be that, given their close proximity, there is some argument for at least overlap or entirely a matter of choice. We are working through that at present. We have a number of ways in which we are informing our decisions about the school, including the name of the school, and that will enable me to have a sense of what the feeder schools, as well as the existing Adelaide High School, are thinking about these matters.
