          <inserted>The Road Safety program provides for policy and investment advice, community information on road safety and the provision of services for safe and sustainable road use and travel behaviour.</inserted>

          <inserted>The variation of 2015-16 Estimated Result to 2015-16 Budget of $1.6 million relates to the transfer of the State and National Black Spot programs funding reported against program 6 Infrastructure Planning and Management to program 7 Road Safety. The budget transfer is an accounting treatment, and the budget relates to Road Safety's responsibility for identifying and approving projects under the State and National Black Spot programs.</inserted>

          <inserted>The transfer of functions reported under program 4 Roads and Marine in 2015-16 to program 7 Road Safety of $1.1 million relates to the provision of the Rider Safe training program. Rider Safe is a compulsory motorcycle rider training course for all novice motorcycles riders.</inserted>
