Z.L. BETTISON (Ramsay—Minister for Communities and Social Inclusion, Minister for Social Housing, Minister for the Status of Women, Minister for Ageing, Minister for Multicultural Affairs, Minister for Youth, Minister for Volunteers): I have been advised: The Equal Opportunity Commission is leading the implementation of White Ribbon Accreditation across 20 government departments, and Agents. Eleven have obtained their accreditation and nine are in the process of becoming accredited. The initial 11 were selected due to their large size, providing the opportunity for increased cultural awareness on a large scale. The subsequent nine agencies were chosen as an extension of the initial 11, enhancing the program's sustainability and reach across the public sector.
