Is the minister aware that the chemotherapy unit at the Wallaroo Hospital was only open on average one day per week, and can the minister provide an update on the efforts being made to progress arrangements for privately insured patients to be able to use the Wallaroo chemotherapy unit?</text>

SNELLING (Playford—Minister for Health, Minister for the Arts, Minister for Health Industries) (15:04):</by> We would open according to whatever the clinical need was, I would imagine. If there was a demand for public chemotherapy patients to access it, then we would open it accordingly. With regard to private patients having access to it, I would certainly have no objection to that as a point of principle. I would need to just check whether there was anything else that was stopping us from allowing that to happen. If the member for Goyder wants to communicate with me, I would be more than happy to chase that matter up. It is good to get a decent question from someone who should be much further up on the front bench for the opposition.</text>
