<by role="member" id="1810">The Hon. J.R. RAU (Enfield—Deputy Premier, Attorney-General, Minister for Justice Reform, Minister for Planning, Minister for Industrial Relations, Minister for Child Protection Reform, Minister for the Public Sector, Minister for Consumer and Business Services, Minister for the City of Adelaide) (14:36):</by> I think I made clear in my ministerial statement that for the time being we are not going to be canvassing matters regarding this. Suffice to say, the police are investigating the matter. I did hear the commissioner on the radio—it might have even been this morning—wherein he made the same point that I have been trying to make today, which is it is a live investigation, a current investigation.</text>
<text id="20160607cd4bfe86aaf64b95a0000416">He was invited as well to make uninformed speculations about this and that, and he said, I believe quite properly, 'This is an ongoing investigation. When we know all the facts, we will be in a position to deal with it.' I emphasise again that we have a police investigation going on right now. I can assure all members that, to the extent that any information is being sought from the government in order to assist with the investigation, that information will of course be forthcoming, but let's let the police do their job.</text>
