Clause 5, page 5, lines 31 and 32 [clause 5(8), inserted definition of 'desex']—Delete the definition and substitute: 'desex' means to castrate or spay an animal so as to permanently render the animal incapable of reproducing (and 'desexed' has a corresponding meaning); Schedule of the reason for disagreeing with the foregoing amendment: Because the council prefers its position in the bill.
