The acting minister at the time said that both the veterans community and the public would have an opportunity to have their say on the expressions of interest which were submitted. You can't even tell us how many have been submitted. What was the process to engage veterans and the public?</text>

SNELLING (Playford—Minister for Health, Minister for the Arts, Minister for Health Industries) (14:29):</by>  I don't think anyone can seriously say that we have not been engaging seriously with veterans at all stages of this project. The veterans community have been very much engaged. We had a full consultation process as part of developing the EOI. We engaged with Mitcham council as well, because they had some concerns about the future use of the site, so their views were taken into account. There's been extensive consultation on this, and the Leader of the Opposition very well knows that.</text>
