CLOSE (Port Adelaide—Minister for Education and Child Development, Minister for the Public Sector): I have been advised of the following: The figures quoted in Budget Paper 3 are developed by the Department of Treasury and Finance. An amount of $13.4 million of the total of $30 million relates to concessions provided to school students for public transport by the Department for Education and Child Development. The remaining amount relates to other agencies outside of the Department for Education and Child Development. Expenses by function data is derived from information submitted by government departments and agencies. This information is derived by DTF and is used to report to the ABS by sector by Treasury, and the information is subject to change.
