The 2014-15 allocated budget towards the repair and maintenance of vacant properties is $31.1 million and this related to 5,492 houses, of which 4,142 were vacancies and 1,350 were tenant transfers. The cost for 2013-14 was $26.6 million with 3,815 vacancies and 1,174 transfers and the cost for 2012-13 was $29.7 million with 3,934 vacancies and 1,352 transfers.
