CLOSE (Port Adelaide—Minister for Education and Child Development, Minister for the Public Sector): I have been advised of the following: As at the end of June 2015, there were 7,422 students actively engaged in programs of the Instrumental Music Service (IMS). Of those students 172 are enrolled in the IMS Central Student Ensembles. Approximately half of those students are taught by IMS teachers and the remainder by private music instructors. A further 111 students are enrolled in IMS regional ensembles. In addition there are 1,454 students enrolled in ensembles in schools which are conducted by IMS teachers.
