<inserted>Brighton Road between Sturt Road and Ocean Boulevard was assessed in conjunction with other roads across the Adelaide metropolitan area and included in 2014-15 financial year. The ride quality and level of pavement failures on the southbound carriageway were considered worse than the northbound carriageway. To ensure available road maintenance funding is allocated to maximise benefits to the community as a whole, it was concluded that only southbound carriageway would be resurfaced in 2014-15 financial year.</inserted>
