This is a matter that has been canvassed both during estimates and also when the chief executive of the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure appeared before the upper house Budget and Finance Committee.</text>
        <text id="2015090896710feb8b304c0a80000619">There is an assertion by the member for Mitchell that there will be five excess trains which will not be used on the network which are, in effect, as he has been describing them, 'wasted trains'; that's not the case. I have made it clear and the chief executive has made it clear that we will be using those trains at every opportunity.</text>
