<by role="member" id="3123">The Hon. A. PICCOLO:</by> On Monday, during the estimates committee hearing for South Australia Police, I was asked how much revenue from fines and expiations would go into general government revenue. I answered the question on the assumption that the member was focused on speeding expiations, and given that assumption, my answer is correct.</text>
<text id="201507294f8a98e99ce840efa0000015">However, to clarify, the budget line that the member was interrogating relates to all expiation notice revenue and, as such, not all money goes into the Community Road Safety Fund. As I undertook to do and was foreshadowed in the line of questioning arising from the committee, I will provide the member for Mitchell with details about the amount of revenue designated to the general revenue.</text>
