          <by role="member" id="3123">The Hon. A. PICCOLO (Light—Minister for Disabilities, Minister for Police, Minister for Correctional Services, Minister for Emergency Services, Minister for Road Safety):</by>  I have been advised:</text>
        <text id="201412023789f6905e9d477cb0000987">The disability grant program currently funds 95 organisations. These organisations are typically receiving funding for a period of three years, with agreements in place for the period 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2016.</text>
        <text id="201412023789f6905e9d477cb0000988">Variations are made to these grants throughout the term of the agreements for:</text>
        <text id="201412023789f6905e9d477cb0000989">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">New services being contracted out, or services terminating;</item>
        </text>
        <text id="201412023789f6905e9d477cb0000990">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">The transition of clients and funding to the National Disability Insurance Scheme; and</item>
        </text>
        <text id="201412023789f6905e9d477cb0000991">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Other matters which may arise during the life of the agreements.</item>
        </text>
        <text id="201412023789f6905e9d477cb0000992">The transition of disability service provision from the state government to the National Disability Insurance Scheme is expected to commence from 1 July 2016, which will have a significant impact on the amount of funding which the state government contracts for service provision under any grant program.</text>
