RANKINE (Wright—Minister for Education and Child Development) (14:14):</by>  My very clear advice is that the Families SA workers in the case of Chloe Valentine, for example, should have alerted the mother to the past criminal convictions involving her partner. Indeed, these are things that happen as is required, and there have been cases that have come across my desk where I have seen that families have actually been alerted to that, or safety plans put in place that restrict access of known sex offenders to children in a household.</text>
