RANKINE (Wright—Minister for Education and Child Development) (14:10):</by>  The Leader of the Opposition misunderstands the purpose of the adverse events committee and the role that it undertakes. It is an internal review that looks at the policies and practices of Families SA in the context of a particular case. It wasn't an investigation, if you like, into each individual decision that was made—that is the purview of the Child Death and Serious Injury Review Committee. This is looking at policies and practices that may need to be changed within Families SA.</text>
