Z.L. BETTISON (Ramsay—Minister for Communities and Social Inclusion, Minister for Social Housing, Minister for Multicultural Affairs, Minister for Ageing, Minister for Youth, Minister for Volunteers): I have been advised: 1.	As reported on page 38 of 2014-15 Budget Paper 3, general government grant expenses increase in each year between 2013-14 and 2016-17. The increase in grant payments from 2015-16 to 2017-18 is mainly due to the growth in Communities and Social Inclusion grants, largely reflecting increased support for disability services and an increase in grants to South Australian Housing Trust in 2017-18 relating to the relief of $320 million on its balance sheet in 2013-14 and an associated reduction in grants over four years ceasing in 2016-17.
