          <by role="member" id="4622">The Hon. S.E. CLOSE (Port Adelaide—Minister for Manufacturing and Innovation, Minister for Automotive Transformation, Minister for the Public Sector):</by>  I have been advised:</text>
        <text id="201410143dfcaebfc69c4fb7b0001591">In January 2014, the Premier announced <term>Building a Stronger South Australia:</term><term>Our Jobs Plan</term>, which committed $60 million to 2017-18 to prepare South Australia for GM Holden Ltd's closure in 2017. <term>Our Jobs Plan</term> contains six key actions aimed at securing the future of South Australia's manufacturing sector and strengthening our economy.</text>
        <text id="201410143dfcaebfc69c4fb7b0001592">The state government's plan also called for the commonwealth government to contribute a total of $333 million to initiatives within the package, to support its efforts, including:</text>
        <text id="201410143dfcaebfc69c4fb7b0001593">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">$37.4 million for introducing new programs to provide support, training opportunities and vocational advice to assist automotive employees with securing new jobs;</item>
        </text>
        <text id="201410143dfcaebfc69c4fb7b0001594">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">$20 million to work with community organisations in the northern Adelaide council areas, to develop an employment strategy for the region, attract new growth industries, maintain public assets and establish a Community Building Fund to invest in urban regeneration and local projects;</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">$26 million to expand the Automotive Supplier Diversification Program, to help automotive supply businesses to find alternative markets and opportunities; </item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">$21 million towards a Re-tooling for Diversification Program to help around 200 companies providing up to 5,500 jobs, to diversify from the automotive supply chain over the next four years;</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">$4 million to assist the Industry Capability Network to manage the impact of firm closures;</item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">$2 million to review the future use of the GM Holden Ltd plant and site at Elizabeth;</item>
        </text>
        <text id="201410143dfcaebfc69c4fb7b0001599">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">$10 million to develop industry road maps for South Australia's new industries, to support economic diversification;</item>
        </text>
        <text id="201410143dfcaebfc69c4fb7b0001600">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">$20 million to support new smart specialisation clusters and precincts where future industries can work together to innovate, create jobs and secure export growth;</item>
        </text>
        <text id="201410143dfcaebfc69c4fb7b0001601">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">$10 million to provide new Business Transformation Vouchers, to support around 200 small and medium-sized businesses with tapping into expert advice that will help their businesses to grow and diversify;</item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">$180 million to establish a new Jobs Acceleration Fund, to assist businesses to invest in new economic activity that creates jobs in South Australia; and</item>
        </text>
        <text id="201410143dfcaebfc69c4fb7b0001603">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">$2.68 million to support local entrepreneurs in turning good ideas into successful ventures through a number of start-up initiatives.</item>
