RANKINE (Wright—Minister for Education and Child Development): I have been advised: A significant amount of the e-CARL development was managed in-house. Components of version 2 were undertaken at a cost of approximately $166,000. Costs associated with the telephone system amounted to $544,775 excluding GST. This will result in improvements to the system that include the ability to record and store all child protection notifications, advising callers of their position in the queue, and a message feature.
