        <text id="201409160025e8661fd94e2b90001156">1.&amp;#x9;The government allocated $200,000 in funding to the Volunteer Support Fund in 2002, and $150,000 each year thereafter. </text>

        <text id="201409160025e8661fd94e2b90001157">2.&amp;#x9;The Office for Volunteers, within the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion, convenes a selection panel to prepare recommendations for the Minister for Volunteers. The minister is then advised of the selection panel's recommendations and provides final approval on the successful applicants.</text>
