          <by role="member" id="1810">The Hon. J.R. RAU (Enfield—Deputy Premier, Attorney-General, Minister for Justice Reform, Minister for Planning, Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Minister for Industrial Relations):</by>  I have received the following advice: </text>
        <text continued="true" id="2014080539e6fe4000e0450180001235">Aboriginal Power Cup </text>
        <text id="2014080539e6fe4000e0450180001236">Since 2008-09, funding of $97,920 per annum has been provided for the Aboriginal Power Cup, an initiative of the Attorney-General's Department in partnership with the Port Adelaide Football Club, SANTOS, the SA Aboriginal Sports Training Academy and the SA National Football League. It is an early intervention program that engages young people at risk in sporting activities to encourage them to continue with their education and make positive lifestyle choices.</text>

        <text id="2014080539e6fe4000e0450180001238">The Attorney-General's Department provided the following one-off funding in 2011-12 for Indigenous programs:</text>

          <item sublevel="2" bullet="true">Project for families experiencing domestic violence with local Aboriginal services to be consulted.</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Aboriginal Foundation of SA—$50,000</item>
        </text>
        <text id="2014080539e6fe4000e0450180001242">
          <item sublevel="2" bullet="true">Training and mentoring for Aboriginal people.</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Port Pirie Regional Aboriginal Community Centre—$22,000</item>

          <item sublevel="2" bullet="true">City Safe Program, Youth Employment &amp; Education. An early intervention project with an objective to increase indigenous employment in Port Augusta.</item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Current funding agreement for the period 1 July 2011—30 June 2014 is for $447,000 per year.</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">The Operation Flinders program provides a crime prevention program for young offenders and young people at risk of offending. Participants are taken on an eight day exercise to the far northern Flinders ranges.</item>

        <text continued="true" id="2014080539e6fe4000e0450180001255">Port Augusta Youth Support Strategy (PAYSS) </text>
        <text id="2014080539e6fe4000e0450180001256">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">This Program includes funding for the Port Augusta Youth Centre, Port Augusta Youth Support Strategy and the Port Augusta Summer Activities Program.</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">One-off funding provided in 2011-12 was as follows:</item>

          <item sublevel="2" bullet="true">$80,000—Port Augusta Youth Centre (a total of 4,604 young people attended the centre with 3,935 being Aboriginal); </item>

          <item sublevel="2" bullet="true">$2,587—Port Augusta Summer Activities Program; and</item>
        </text>
        <text id="2014080539e6fe4000e0450180001260">
          <item sublevel="2" bullet="true">$100,000—Port Augusta Youth Support Strategy (a night time based youth support and mentoring strategy and bus service, delivered on Friday and Saturday nights and on week nights during school holidays. A total of 1,062 young people were picked up by the bus service of which 1,016 were Aboriginal.)'</item>
