          <by role="member" id="1812">The Hon. J.W. WEATHERILL (Cheltenham—Premier):</by>  I have been advised of the following:</text>
        <text id="201407037e3fe2df898640b0a0001089">Mr Rod Hook concluded his employment as Chief Executive, Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure at close of business 9 May 2014. In accordance with the terms of his employment contract, Mr Hook is entitled to:</text>
        <text id="201407037e3fe2df898640b0a0001090">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">four (4) months written notice or payment in lieu (equating to $118,966);</item>
        </text>
        <text id="201407037e3fe2df898640b0a0001091">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">a termination payment of $242,170 based on four (4) months adjusted remuneration for each uncompleted year of the term of appointment (subject to a maximum of 16 months adjusted remuneration).</item>
        </text>
        <text id="201407037e3fe2df898640b0a0001092">In total the termination payment equates to $361,136.</text>
        <text id="201407037e3fe2df898640b0a0001093">In addition, payment of leave entitlements of approximately $147,959 ($31,653 in annual leave and $116,306 in long service leave) brought the total gross payment received by Mr Hook to $509,095.</text>
