Sir, on the next day of sitting, I will move that I have leave to introduce a bill for an act to establish a legislative framework to ensure that the development and wellbeing of children and young people is considered from a whole-of-government perspective, to recognise the importance of children and young people to the state, to establish a commissioner for children and young people, to establish the child development council, to require the preparation of an outcomes framework for children and young people, and to make related amendments to the Children's Protection Act 1993 and the Freedom of Information Act 1991, and for other purposes.</text>
