RAU: The question that was asked is an open-ended question in relation to periods of time during which the minister assisting was not even a member of the parliament, let alone a minister of the Crown. The position is that there is nothing that can be offered by way of assistance in respect of those particular questions. Can I also add this: there are matters floating around at the present time, of which I am sure the honourable member is aware, in our court system. In fact, one of them was lodged, I believe, within the last 24 hours, relating to certain matters. In respect of those matters, there are a great many issues which touch upon things like privilege and various other things. I do not consider it to be appropriate, in the context of those proceedings, for me—and, can I say, other members—to be answering questions about this particular matter, which is now actively being litigated by people, some of whom I understand are associated or have in the past been associated with senior members of the opposition. So, let us just bear in mind what is going on; let those proceedings roll out as they will. Let the activities that are being agitated in other places roll out as they will.
