WEATHERILL (Cheltenham—Premier, Treasurer, Minister for State Development, Minister for the Public Sector, Minister for the Arts) (15:07): Apprenticeships represent one form of the training effort in the South Australian economy. We have a very wide range of training options that have now been introduced through Skills for All. We have achieved our 100,000 training places commitment that was due by 2016 three years ahead of time. The reforms that we have made in our training sector, led by the member for Playford and now led by the minister for training, and also by the former member for Newland—are far-reaching, progressive reforms, which actually are leading the nation. Other people are looking at our reforms. We have been able to manage them without the dislocation that has occurred in other states. We have achieved an extraordinary thing in the creation of new TAFE facilities both at Regency Park and down there at Tonsley. This is something that we should be proud of. Don't search for a scrap of data that allows you to talk down the South Australian economy. People are sick of it and they don't believe it. There is a growing sense of confidence in South Australia. You are on the wrong tram. Get with the people that believe in the future of this state.
