        <text id="201311141db870145a454213b0001270">The Legislative Council agreed to the bill with the amendment indicated by the following schedule, to which amendment the Legislative Council desires the concurrence of the House of Assembly:</text>

          <inserted>Clause 21, page 13, lines 20 to 33 [clause 21, inserted Schedule 2, clause 4]—Delete inserted clause 4 and substitute:</inserted>

          <item sublevel="2">
            <inserted>4—Driving to participate in activities</inserted>
          </item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="2">
            <inserted>(1)&amp;#x9;For the purposes of sections 75A(21) and 81A(17), driving a motor vehicle by the shortest practicable route between—</inserted>
          </item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="3">
            <inserted>(a)&amp;#x9;a place at which the driver resides (whether temporarily or permanently); and</inserted>
          </item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="3">
            <inserted>(b)&amp;#x9;a place at which the driver engages in recognised activity participation,</inserted>
          </item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="3">
            <inserted>for the purposes of the recognised activity participation is driving the vehicle in prescribed circumstances.</inserted>

            <inserted>(2)&amp;#x9;In this clause—</inserted>
          </item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="3">
            <inserted>
              <term>recognised activity</term> means—</inserted>
          </item>
        </text>
        <text id="201311141db870145a454213b0001279">
          <item sublevel="3">
            <inserted>(a)&amp;#x9;a sporting, artistic, charitable, religious or scientific activity; or</inserted>
          </item>
        </text>
        <text id="201311141db870145a454213b0001280">
          <item sublevel="3">
            <inserted>(b)&amp;#x9;an activity of a kind prescribed by the regulations for the purposes of this definition;</inserted>

            <inserted>
              <term>recognised activity participation</term> means participation in a recognised activity that is provided or organised by an organisation, association or club (other than participation of a kind declared by the regulations to be excluded from this definition).</inserted>
