WEATHERILL (Cheltenham—Premier, Treasurer, Minister for State Development, Minister for the Public Sector, Minister for the Arts) (14:27):</by> I stand by the remarks I made before about my commitment. As I understand it, the Leader of the Opposition has left open the possibility of raising existing taxation. I read that with interest in the reported press the other day, so perhaps he has some questions to answer there. We will be bringing to this house, if—after the consultation process around the draft legislation—there is a consensus about being able to move this through the house in this session. I would like to do that. I understand that those opposite might be keen to actually support the transport development levy. That was put to me today. If they are, we are more than happy to advance that through the parliament, through all stages, very quickly.</text>
