RANKINE (Wright—Minister for Education and Child Development, Minister for Multicultural Affairs) (15:11):</by>  As I said, the family copied my office into correspondence they sent to the department. They received a letter, as I understand it, in early June. Their correspondence came in on the Sunday, I think it was, 27 May, and early June a response was sent to the family advising that it had been referred to the Minister for Police for investigation, and a formal response from the Minister for Police went to the family in mid-July.</text>
