WEATHERILL (Cheltenham—Premier, Treasurer, Minister for State Development, Minister for the Public Sector, Minister for the Arts) (14:45):</by> I thank the honourable member for his question. It is obvious that some of the clauses are specifically directed at the paid Public Service. The lion's share of the code of conduct has direct relevance to every public sector employee, so they are the natural things you would expect to have in a code of ethics, such as the way in which gifts are dealt with, the way in which conflicts of interest are dealt with—all of the matters that are standards you would expect of public sector employees discharging their duties honestly and diligently.</text>
