Noting the government's consultation as outlined by the minister, if the government, indeed, had firm enough plans for the South Road and Port Road upgrade to apply to Infrastructure Australia in October last year, why did they only start telling people yesterday that they would be acquiring their land?</text>

I am not sure what world the Deputy Leader of the Opposition lives in, but we don't acquire properties unless we are doing work: it is pretty basic.</text>
