<text id="20130409595b74120fb04ba090000281">All of the 239 outstanding reviews referred to above are now complete. A work allocation system has been implemented whereby reviews are regularly being processed as they are received by the Department for Education and Child Development (Families SA) Carer Assessment and Registration Unit.</text>
<text id="20130409595b74120fb04ba090000282">No carer registrations were cancelled as a result of this process. It should be noted that it is a rare occurrence for a review to generate the cancellation of a carer registration. This is because a number of factors will influence such a determination and these can occur at various times during an active registration. It is more common that a carer may be placed on hold, or their specific approvals be altered at time of review due to issues that have been raised during the review.</text>
