        <text id="20130319c5cc605944da445fa0000389">In the 2010-11 financial year the then Department for Education and Children's Services provided over $86 million in funding for Aboriginal programs, grants, and associated operational costs. </text>
        <text id="20130319c5cc605944da445fa0000390">Of the $86 million, $12.8 million was dedicated to capital expenditure, nearly $73.4 million was recurrent funding which included over $20 million in targeted grants to schools, and $590,000 was dedicated to operational expenditure.</text>
