Therefore, at this point the integrity of the investigation and the judicial process needs to be upheld. That is a direct quote from a police statement that was issued last week in relation to the arrest of—</text>

The police in South Australia do not take the decision to withhold information lightly, but they did ask for patience in relation to this investigation. My concern is around any victims that we need to protect, that has to be paramount, and ensuring that we get a successful prosecution of anyone who has abused a child. I am not about to breach any instruction that we have received from SAPOL that we are to say nothing further in relation to this investigation until they give us the clearance to do so.</text>
