CAICA (Colton—Minister for Sustainability, Environment and Conservation, Minister for Water and the River Murray, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation): I am advised: The Intergovernmental Agreement on Murray Darling Basin Reform includes $80 million of Murray Futures funding for water purchasing from willing sellers in South Australia. The Australian Government has 100 per cent funded and managed this program. The Australian Government has advised: The commitment to make $80 million immediately available for water purchasing in South Australia has been met, by securing the purchase of 34.4 gigalitres of South Australian water entitlements as at 31 December 2009.
