          <by role="member" id="535">The Hon. J.D. HILL (Kaurna—Minister for Health and Ageing, Minister for Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Minister for the Arts):</by>  I am advised:</text>
        <text id="20121016f92c50ed0b49499ea0000960">1.&amp;#x9;The budget for maintenance cost centre (containing much of the facility's maintenance costs) in 2011-12 was $3,098,474, while the actual expenditure was $3,151,581.</text>

        <text id="20121016f92c50ed0b49499ea0000961">Based on the data contained in the 2012-13 Health Performance Agreement, the total cost, net of revenue, to the Health Budget for Repatriation General Hospital (RGH) is $129,599,000.</text>
        <text id="20121016f92c50ed0b49499ea0000962">It should be noted this includes RGH Mental Health, but excludes the Capital Works program, which is unknown at this stage.</text>
        <text id="20121016f92c50ed0b49499ea0000963">2.&amp;#x9;There are 279 beds in operation at Repatriation General Hospital and across the following functions: Acute Referral Unit, Adelaide Institute for Sleep Health, Cardiology, Critical Care, Dermatology, Diabetes &amp; Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Mental Health, Neurology, Nutrition &amp; Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Oncology &amp; Haematology, Ophthalmology, Orthotics and Prosthetics Department of SA, Orthopaedics, Pain Management, Physiotherapy, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, Rehabilitation &amp; Aged Care, Rheumatology, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Stomal Wound Care and Urology.</text>
        <text id="20121016f92c50ed0b49499ea0000964">3.&amp;#x9;The total number of employees at the hospital are 1,082.74 FTE and 1,465 actual persons. These figures exclude the co-located services of Medical Imaging, Pharmacy and Mental Health. Mental Health at RGH have 141.46 FTE.</text>
        <text id="20121016f92c50ed0b49499ea0000965">4.&amp;#x9;RGH does not have a recognised emergency department.</text>
        <text id="20121016f92c50ed0b49499ea0000966">5.&amp;#x9;RGH will focus on its role as a general hospital, providing rehabilitation, palliative care and mental health services in the southern suburbs.</text>
