        <text id="20121016b745999201a1403ca0000851">1.&amp;#x9;SA Health monitors spending on a monthly basis internally at both the portfolio level and at the entity level. The portfolio level data is reported to the Department of Treasury and Finance on a monthly basis through the monthly monitoring process.</text>
        <text id="20121016b745999201a1403ca0000852">Based on the 2012-13 original operating expenditure budget, the following allocation is provided:</text>

        <text id="20121016b745999201a1403ca0000853">Total Health Portfolio&amp;#x9;&amp;#x9;&amp;#x9;$4.895 billion</text>
        <text id="20121016b745999201a1403ca0000854">Ageing Policy and Strategy&amp;#x9;&amp;#x9;$4.842 million</text>
        <text id="20121016b745999201a1403ca0000855">Mental Health &amp; Substance Abuse&amp;#x9;$64.541 million</text>
        <text continued="true" id="20121016b745999201a1403ca0000856">It should be noted that the total health portfolio number includes Ageing and Mental Health and Substance Abuse. </text>
        <text id="20121016b745999201a1403ca0000857">Mental Health and Substance Abuse relates to policy and coordination only, which is reflected in the Department for Health and Ageing's budget numbers. The mental health and substance abuse service delivery component of expenditure is embedded in functions provided by the Local Health Networks and is not reflected in this amount.</text>
