This Plan indicates that the Modbury Hospital will take a key role in servicing the needs of the ageing population in the north-eastern suburbs of Adelaide. In addition to the current services such as medical, surgery, paediatrics and mental health being provided, the aim is to enhance services for older persons related to rehabilitation, aged care and palliative care.</text>
