PORTOLESI (Hartley—Minister for Education and Child Development):</by>  The 2010-11 budget included an additional $203.4 million in total operating expenditure above that in the 2009-10 budget. This increase resulted in the Department's total operating expenditure budget for 2010-11 being $2.533 billion.</text>
