PORTOLESI (Hartley—Minister for Education and Child Development):</by>  The in-kind assistance includes the cost of the student conveyance allowance and the School Card Assistance Scheme. The total amount of in-kind assistance estimated for the 2011-12 Budget is $2.3 million.</text>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">The services of 13 Education Officers based in the Adelaide Festival Centre, SA Museum, Art Gallery of SA, Botanic Gardens of Adelaide, Zoos SA, SA Maritime Museum, Parliament House, Law Courts, Migration Museum, SA Water and CSIRO at no cost to schools.</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Access to services, staff, and teaching and student resources from the department's Aboriginal, Multicultural, Languages and learning Resource Centre.</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Access of non-government students to participate in state-wide academic competitions hosted by departmental officers like the Eden Prize, Spirit of ANZAC, Young Writers Award and Spring Poetry Festival.</item>
