<by role="member" id="614">The Hon. J.M. RANKINE:</by> During the recent estimates committee session I said that the State Emergency Service Volunteer Association was in the process of developing a form of top-up insurance for volunteers injured or killed during the course of their duties. I am very pleased to have been advised that this insurance is already in place. I also congratulate the volunteers association for its early work in establishing a foundation fund that could also provide further assistance to volunteers who may have an accident whilst serving our community.</text>
