Will the minister explain why the government has allocated only $300,000 of discretionary funds to assist seaside councils with foreshore management and protection support? With the storms we experienced recently, combined with high tides over a few days, the City of Victor Harbor alone has experienced foreshore damage that may potentially cost $500,000-plus to rectify. There needs to be greater urgency in assessing and responding to these problems by the Coast Protection Board. The minister needs to—</text>

CAICA:</by>  I think the question talked about discretionary funding and I am presuming that, because that funding is discretionary, it will get allocated where it is seen fit by the Coast Protection Board. I am not across the finer detail, as you might expect, but I am happy to offer the member for Finniss—as I am for everyone on that side—a briefing on these particular matters so he will become more aware of it. Having said that, I will get the details and come back to the house on it.</text>
