Will the minister explain why the government has allocated only $300,000 of discretionary funds to assist seaside councils with foreshore management and protection support? With the storms we experienced recently, combined with high tides over a few days, the City of Victor Harbor alone has experienced foreshore damage that may potentially cost $500,000-plus to rectify. There needs to be greater urgency in assessing and responding to these problems by the Coast Protection Board. The minister needs to— The Hon. P.F. CONLON House of Assembly The Hon. P.F. CAICA: I think the question talked about discretionary funding and I am presuming that, because that funding is discretionary, it will get allocated where it is seen fit by the Coast Protection Board. I am not across the finer detail, as you might expect, but I am happy to offer the member for Finniss—as I am for everyone on that side—a briefing on these particular matters so he will become more aware of it.
