        <text continued="true" id="2012050223ad6e208c6c4eac90000295">As stated in the budget papers, only two of these bids were successful in receiving Commonwealth support these two bids were:</text>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">CRC for Contamination and Remediation of the Environment; and</item>
        </text>
        <text id="2012050223ad6e208c6c4eac90000297">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">CRC Next Generation Australian Pork</item>
        </text>
        <text continued="true" id="2012050223ad6e208c6c4eac90000298">These successful SA bids were existing CRCs seeking extensions. The CRC CARE will receive a total of $29 million and CRC Pork a total of $20 million from the Commonwealth. Both CRCs sought eight year extensions and this funding will conclude in 2019.</text>
        <text id="2012050223ad6e208c6c4eac90000299">DFEEST has existing contractual arrangements with these particular CRCs (due to expire in 2011-12) which will now to be extended. Each CRC has been allocated $100,000 per annum over three years (2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15).</text>
