          <by role="member" id="535">The Hon. J.D. HILL (Kaurna—Minister for Health and Ageing, Minister for Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Minister for the Arts):</by>  I am advised:</text>
        <text id="2011112246c5d8f3aa0f4b0aa0000390">1.&amp;#x9;The savings requirements that were allocated to the Children, Youth and Women's Health Service in 2009-10 are based on savings initiatives approved by Cabinet, as part of the 2006-07, 2007-08, and 2008-09 Budgets.</text>
        <text id="2011112246c5d8f3aa0f4b0aa0000391">The Children, Youth and Women's Health Service funding allocations for 2009-10 and 2010-11 include the following savings initiative:</text>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Procurement and Supply Chain Savings–this savings represents efficiencies expected from the Procurement and Supply Chain Centralisation project that was approved as part of the 2008-09 Budget.</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">In addition, the Region is implementing a number of initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency of the Region and improving its financial performance.</item>
        </text>
        <text id="2011112246c5d8f3aa0f4b0aa0000394">2.&amp;#x9;The Region has not identified any reductions to the front line services it provides. The financial benefits which are expected to be derived from the savings initiatives are principally a result of productivity and efficiency improvements.</text>
