          <by role="member" id="535">The Hon. J.D. HILL (Kaurna—Minister for Health, Minister for Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Minister for the Southern Suburbs, Minister Assisting the Premier in the Arts):</by>  I am advised:</text>
        <text id="20111018c10fa14b7dcb400f80001032">1.&amp;#x9;The total initial State Government contribution to the Guitar Festival–for the festivals already held in 2007, 2008, 2010, and planned for 2012–has been $2,160,000.</text>
        <text id="20111018c10fa14b7dcb400f80001033">The further funding allocated through the 2011-12 State Budget will allow the Guitar Festival to continue beyond 2012, with an amount of $500,000 being provided for each biennial event, commencing with the 2014 festival.</text>

        <text id="20111018c10fa14b7dcb400f80001034">2.&amp;#x9;Private sector support for the 2010 Guitar Festival consisted of $50,600 in cash and $19,000 in-kind support from sponsors, plus an estimated $70,000 from media partnerships.</text>
        <text id="20111018c10fa14b7dcb400f80001035">In addition, the Festival Centre Foundation provided $20,000 for the inaugural Classical Guitar Competition during the 2010 Guitar Festival.</text>
