My question is to the Premier: has he sought compensation from the Prime Minister for the increased state budget costs created by the carbon tax, given that the Victorian Liberal Premier (Ted Baillieu) requested and was granted compensation for the state of Victoria? Last week I wrote to the Prime Minister requesting financial compensation for South Australia for the additional cost that the state budget will face because of the carbon tax.
