RANKINE (Wright—Minister for Families and Communities, Minister for Housing, Minister for Ageing, Minister for Disability):</by>  The Department for Families and Communities has not provided any funding to Abbeyfield Australia. It has, however, made grant funding available to the Abbeyfield Society (District of Barossa) Inc, which is an affiliated local society in South Australia.</text>
        <text id="2011072628dada735be74f3e80000320">In 2005-06, DFC provided the Abbeyfield Society (District of Barossa) Inc with a Grants for Seniors grant of $2,500 to purchase sound equipment, exercise equipment and music to support the seniors exercise programs.</text>
        <text id="2011072628dada735be74f3e80000321">On 10 July 2008, the former Minister for Housing wrote to Abbeyfield Society outlining approval in principle of up to $1.2m (excluding GST), through the Affordable Housing Innovations Fund (AHIF).</text>
        <text id="2011072628dada735be74f3e80000322">The full payment of the AHIF grant of $1.2m (excluding GST) was made to Abbeyfield Society (District of Barossa) Inc during the 2010-11 financial year.</text>
