The state budget this year reveals that not only is the Premier's film hub getting an extra $1.3 million from the Treasurer this year but it will take a year longer than expected to complete. HILL: I do find it passing strange, Madam Speaker, that the shadow opposition spokesperson for both disability and ageing would make a joke about my hearing. I have had my hearing tested, as it happens, and as a result of that test I know I have hearing loss at higher pitch levels, particularly when there is a lot of background noise. HILL: I am told, Madam Speaker, that that loss of hearing is absolutely consistent for somebody of my advanced years. It is absolutely just so typical of the member for Bragg to make jokes about such things. The other point I make (I say this parenthetically)—my doctor did tell me there are some very good hearing aids I could get if I chose to which would allow me to pick up sound very well.
