What will the cost per square kilometre be for managing and maintaining South Australia's marine parks and sanctuary zones? The environment department manager has declined to put a figure on the total cost of managing South Australia's marine parks, which are yet to be finalised, but it would be reasonable to expect that a cost per square kilometre would already be known. It has been reported that marine parks can cost as much as $2,600 per square kilometre, which would place a massive burden on South Australian taxpayers and could render the state's vital export fishing industry—</text>

I think it would be reasonable to expect that the member for Hammond, along with others from the other side, would by now have an understanding that the marine parks, in particular the sanctuary zones, have not been determined and are yet to be determined. We still have a detailed process to undertake with the local advisory groups that are meeting as we speak, and will continue to meet.</text>

He said, 'I'm a spear fisherman of 44 years' or more experience. This is the first time I have ever seen this sort of bullshit. I want to ask the Liberal Party: if this crap goes through, are they going to chuck it out?' The member for Bragg, over raucous cheering, banging the podium, said, 'Okay, I'm getting the head girl up here to give the answer.' The Leader of the Opposition swaggers up to the podium and says, 'The short answer is: yes.'</text>
