Does the Treasurer still believe that capitalism is a problem in our society, having said in his maiden speech: The problem is not economic rationalism, but capitalism. This then is the task before this house and our society: to recognise that capitalism is a system with flaws that cannot be overcome. SNELLING (Playford—Treasurer, Minister for Employment, Training and Further Education) (14:26): I have spent the last couple of weeks getting accusations from everyone that I am too right wing and now the opposition are coming out and accusing me of being too left wing. All sorts of things people make in the course of maiden speeches; they refine their views. If this is the best the opposition can throw at me then, please, go for it.
