        <text id="20110208f48ae9ee9a37490aa0000364">1.&amp;#x9;The increase in revenues that the Auditor-General's Report is referring to is for the results for the 2005-06 financial year which is referred to in the report as 2006.</text>
        <text id="20110208f48ae9ee9a37490aa0000365">Since 30 June 2006, customer numbers have increased by an average of 9,000 to 10,000 new water customers and 6,000 to 8,000 new wastewater customers per annum, which is an increase of approximately 1.2 per cent to 1.5 per cent per annum.</text>
        <text id="20110208f48ae9ee9a37490aa0000366">The increase in revenue relating to water and wastewater fixed charges attributable to growth in customer numbers can vary from year to year. However, for the period 1 July 2006 to 30 June 2010, which was analysed by the Auditor-General, it is estimated that growth in customer numbers increased fixed charge revenues by around $22 million, representing an average of $5-6 million per annum.</text>
